PennDOT driver’s license and photo centers closed on Saturday for Christmas vacation

HARRISBURG – If you need last minute changes to your driver’s licenses or ID cards, you have until late Friday afternoon to deal with them.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced that all driver’s license and photo centers will be closed on Saturday, December 25, during the Christmas break. Local locations in Erie, Crawford and Warren counties will be open on Friday.

Customers can still get a variety of driver and vehicle products and services, including all driver training forms, publications and manuals, online. HERE.

Online services for drivers and vehicles are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and include driver’s license, photo ID, vehicle registration renewals, address changes, driver’s license or vehicle insurance restoration costs and more. There is no additional charge for using online services.

The centers will be open next week, from December 27 to 31, before closing again on New Year’s Day on Saturday January 1, 2022.
