Travis Training Center will host an open barn on June 4 in partnership with Bridle up Hope and LifeFusion to promote horses for wellness.

The festivities will begin at 11 a.m. at the Travis Training Center at 5400 W. 9900 South in Payson. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet some of the Travis Training Center’s world famous Arabian horses and experience a horse presentation up close. Food, music, door prizes and information on horse welfare practices will also be available.

“We’ll be focusing on anxiety and depression with Bridle up Hope, discussing how involving and companionship with horses can help combat these difficult situations,” Travis Training Center owner Stephanie Hansen wrote in a post. email to the Daily Herald. “LifeFusion will also share other medical expertise and modalities, including TMS and ketamine infusions, to help with depression, PTSD, and many other mental and physical conditions.”

Bridle up Hope is a public charity based in the Alps dedicated to inspiring hope, confidence and resilience in young women through equestrian training. LifeFusion strives to promote healthy living and wellness through intravenous infusions and psychotherapy.

“We invite the public to experience an Arabian horse up close and learn about depression and the different approaches to combating it,” Hansen said.
