New Delhi: Great news has fallen for motorists. The government gives you a lot of comfort. Now you will get rid of a big problem. You will no longer have to go around the Regional Transport Office (RTO) to obtain a driver’s license. The central government has greatly simplified the rules for obtaining a driver’s license. In line with government changes to driving license rules, you will no longer be required to pass a driving test when visiting the RTO for DL. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways of the Union has notified these rules, and these rules have also entered into force. Not only that, those whose driving licenses are on the RTO waiting list will also benefit.

According to the new data by the same ministry, now you will not have to wait for the test at the RTO to get a driver’s license. You can enroll in any recognized driving school for a driver’s license. They will have to take training at the driving school and pass the exam there, a certificate will be given to the candidates in the name of the school. Based on this certificate, the applicant’s driving license will be issued.

The new rules:-
There are also Ministry of Roads and Transport guidelines and conditions regarding training centers. This includes from the field of training centers to training the trainer. Let’s understand it.

– Training centers for two-wheelers, three-wheelers and light motor vehicles must have at least one hectare of land
– Two acres of land will be required for centers for medium and heavy passenger vehicles or trailers.
-The trainer must have passed at least 12th standard and have at least five years of driving experience, he must be familiar with traffic rules.
– The Ministry has also decided on a teaching program. For driving a light motor vehicle in this context, the duration of the course will be a maximum of 4 weeks which will last 29 hours.
– The course of the driving centers will be divided into 2 parts. Theory and practise.
– People will have to spend 21 hours learning how to drive on basic roads, rural roads, highways, city roads, reversing and parking, uphill and downhill driving, etc.
-The theoretical part will cover 8 hours of the whole course, it will include understanding road etiquette, road rage, traffic education, understanding accident causes, first aid and efficiency driving energy.
