The Football Federation of Belize (FFB) held the first training module for 31 Belizean coaches aspiring to their Concacaf C’ license from Monday to Friday, February 21-25, at the FFB headquarters in Belmopan.

Twenty-five men and six women are taking part in the three-part course.

Module 1 of the training course was facilitated by FFB Technical Director Philip Marin, FFB Coach Education Manager Jonathan Hooper, Coach Marvin Ottley and Coach Dale Pelayo. The instructors, who are completing their Concacaf B license course, were supervised by CONCACAF mentor Neal Ellis from the USA.

“The aim of the course is to develop the skills of coaches to coach youth, amateurs and the highest level in Belize,” the FFB said.

Marin said the course consists of two modules and a practical internship. The internship will take place in March and April and module 2 will take place from May 3 to May 7, 2022.
