Atos and 01Talent Africa launch a digital training center in Senegal

DAKAR, Senegal, June 30, 2022 — 01Talent Africa, in partnership with Atos, has launched its very first Zone01 in Africa. He is moving to Dakar, Senegal, and will offer a whole new form of digital training to as many people as possible. This new collective intelligence center will host several hundred young Senegalese talents in the Atos offices in the Keur Gorgui city in Dakar.

Zone01 Dakar, the Guarantee of a Digital Transformation of Senegalese Territories and Companies

With the growing global shortage of qualified skills in digital professions, the launch of this first Zone01 in Dakar, within the premises of Atos, responds to one of the main challenges of the digitalization of Senegalese territories and companies: l access to new agile, autonomous skills and collaborative talent.

Zone01 Dakar will open this fall and the first cohort will begin training before the end of the year

The inauguration is scheduled for September 2022 at the Atos premises in the Keur Gorgui city in Dakar. An ambitious talent identification campaign will begin in June. Candidates wishing to take the selection tests online can register on the Zone01 Dakar website. They must be at least 18 years old to register. If they are selected, they will be able to participate in one of the three “pools” scheduled for the beginning of September, the beginning of October and the beginning of November. The “pool” is the last step in the selection process. During this stage, candidates will be immersed for 4 weeks in the 01Edu pedagogy, based on peer-to-peer learning and solving group projects, without class or teacher.

The first cohort will begin training before the end of the year. It will accommodate around 120 future talents who will be equipped with laptops. This first Zone01 will serve as a basis for the deployment of the training offer which aims to create more than 200 Zone01 on the African continent.
